As part of the Coach Registration Form, all head coaches will be given the opportunity to request a preferred gym for team practices as well as indicate nights of the week they can definitely not hold practices.  Our scheduling coordinator will do everything possible to meet these requests.  Please fill out the Coach Registration Form well in advance of the recreational draft if you are a recreational coach.  All teams need to know their practice night before the draft takes place as we try to meet the schedule requests of all our players.

The following are some guidelines regarding practice times.  Players on Select Green and Gold teams pay a higher fee, part of which goes to secure additional gym time which we have to pay to the Sycamore School District.  Available practice time is limited based on the number and types of teams that are formed each year.


Gym Time Guidelines

Recreational Teams:                    1, 1 hour practice per week

Select White Teams:                    1, 1.5 hour practice per week

Select Green and Gold Teams:     2 practices per week, 2 total hours


Makeup Practices

If your gym is closed we will try to get schedule a make-up practice for your team.  Please understand that there are a limited number of open practice times available so we cannot accommodate all requests.  The requests will be handled on a week to week basis by our Facility Coordinator. If you would like to request a make-up practice please send an email to Mark Newman the week prior to the week you are requesting a make-up practice.  For example, if you would like a make-up practice the week of Oct 29, you can submit your request beginning on Monday Oct 22.  Any requests that are made further in advance will not be considered by the Facility Coordinator.
