On-line registration for the 2010-2011 season is now open!!  Please CLICK HERE to register for the 2010-2011 season.

Our organization will again offer recreational basketball for 2nd through 6th grades and select teams for grades 4 through 6.  Per player participation costs will be as follows:

$85   recreational program
$190 select program (child must be chosen via tryout)
$275 family maximum

If you prefer to fill out a paper form and send a check in the mail, the registration form can be found HERE on our web site.  Forms will also be distributed at all Sycamore elementary schools as well as the Greene Intermediate School.  There is a $10 late fee for all registrations postmarked after 9/30/2010.

Registration is on a first come-first served basis, subject to the limits of volunteer coaches and available gym time so register as soon as possible to ensure your child a spot.  Space may be limited and unfortunately children have been turned away in the past.

SAC Basketball offers open gyms and clinics on Mondays evenings for 4^th – 6^th graders (please no younger players at Jump Start) during the fall on 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/11 & 10/18.  Jump Start sessions are 90 minutes per age group and offered to both boys and girls at no cost.  Just show up at Greene Intermediate School to play some extra basketball.  Guest speakers/clinicians include Sycamore High School Varsity Men’s and Women’s coaches.  Jump Start times are as follows:

4^th/5^th/6^th Grade Girls & 4^th Grade Boys:                6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

5^th & 6^th Grade Boys:                                           7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

SAC Basketball would like to announce that Select Team tryouts will take place during the week of October 4th at the Greene School.  Tryout times are as follows:

4th/5th Grade Boys: Monday and Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30
6th Grade Boys: Monday and Wednesday 7:30 - 9:00

4th/5th Grade Girls: Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 - 7:30
6th Grade Girls: Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 - 9:00

Please arrive 15 minutes early the first night to register your player and to attend a brief parents meeting.  As always, tryouts are open to the public and results will be posted on our web site sometime during the following weekend.  Those players not selected for a Select Team, will be placed in the Recreational League draft.

Please note that the cost to participate in the Select program has increased to $190 beginning in the 2010-11 season.
